Love Handles -_-
Here's the thing, I've looked up for about two months exercises for these things and I can never find one where I actually feel the burn in them, with cardio before or none. So I was just wondering if anyone knew of any exercises for these pesky problems so they'll disappear :3

hi well im using the jillian michaels:no more trouble zones it hepls alot and your body hurts after the workout anywyas it targets all your body and works every inch of it. i bought my dvd on barns and noble online it cost me 7.49 plus tax and shipping and hadling which is the total of 11.34 which is cheap but to me its worth it anyways hope i was a help

What exercises are you doing? What Weight? How many sets? How many reps?

Alright thanks. And I don't know the names of them, i used either ten pound things, usually one set with thirty reps / day then i would go to a self-exercise where you would just use yourself and do this repeteing motion i guess you could say for 30 times on each side.

diet
Diet has much more impact on love handles than exercise. A clean, simple diet w/ plenty of water and regular cardio exercise (3-4x a week) is what it takes to lose love handles. I strongly advocate weight lifting for overall better health and appearance, but it's diet and cardio that have the biggest direct impact on whether you are carrying extra fat at your waist.

I would agree with the last post. In my opinion, targeting specific areas to lose body fat is a waste of time. Cardio is the best way to lose body fat. Three to four times a week though doesn't seem like much unless you are spending a lot of time at it. While working as a personal trainer, one client was frustrated because 20 minutes of walking a day on the treadmill wasn't getting any results. Twenty minutes of walking on a treadmill will burn the equivalent of about 3/4 cup of 2% milk in calories.
I remember the story of a woman who worked as a police dispatcher. She went to a urologist because of urinary incontinence. She wanted surgery to correct her problem. The surgeon refused telling her she had to lose 100 pounds before he would consider doing surgery. She immediately started walking 10 miles a day, 7 days a week. It took her one year to lose the 100 pounds. Oh yeah...she had to quit her day job.

Sometimes it seems to me that people have stopped loving themselves. You put someone else's opinion of yourself above your own opinion and self-esteem. This is the problem.
