Medi-Fast Diet
Several girls at my work are on the Medi-Fast Diet. Calories are about 1000 a day and you don't exercise. Most of the food is processed and one meal a day is "lean and green". They have lost weight but I don't think this kind of diet is good for the long run in keeping weight off.
What is your take on it.

I was on Opti-Fast back in the 90's
I lost 11 lbs in one week...then I realized I couldn't just drink shakes that tasted like paper mache' so I quit-and ended up Gaining Weight and LOSING my money.
It is a terrible plan, and it is a scam.
No quick fixes.

Yeah I would like to think so!
Now, like you I am questioning grains. I am experimenting with removing "wheat grain gluten" and seeing if it is part of my issue. I still eat steel cut whole grain oats, but that may be next, to try to get rid of. It's all a long journey, right?
