Hi i'm new here and looking for friends. I'm 23 and now taking jiu-jitsu and MMA training I was wondering if anyone else in here takes anything and what some of their diets are. All help is greatly appreciated! thank you

Martial Arts
I take Karate and Kickboxing. My current approach for a diet is simply keeping count of calories and fat with an allowance of 1200 calories a day.

Thank You
thanks for the advice, i'm just worried that wont be enough calories since i'll be burning so many and i'm curious about what a good carb intake would be.

You're Welcome
Well judging from how small I am height wise the 1200 calorie allowance is plenty for me. Depending on your height you might have to increase your calorie intake. I'm not so sure about carbs, but then again carb diets aren't really my thing. They never really worked for me.
