Need help before I die.....
I am sersiously overweight and I am ready to lose it.
I am a 28 year old female, 6 feet tall and I weight close to 400 pounds.
I just don't know what type of exercises would help me to lose weight.
I feel lost and need somewhere to start.
Any suggestions would be great... I dont want my weight to be the death of me.....

That is great that you want to make a change.
You took the first step by trying to get help! Congrats! You ARE on the right track. Now what you need to do is empower yourself by learning a little more each day. You have a lot of weight to lose, yes, but as I see it, at 6 ft, you have the natural ability to burn more fat. (It would be more difficult for a short person.) Here's the scoop, you have got to do alot of excercising. It's not easy, but once you get the ball rolling it'll be really motivating. Weight training and aerobic activity should both be done, they work synergistically. A few first steps... Include 20-30 minutes of walking or stationary bike, whatever gets your heart rate up, do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, waiting an hour to eat. Eat 5-6 small meals a day, including protein in all of them. Throw away anything in your fridge, cupboard that has more than 4 ingredients. Just chuck it, you need to eat as cleanly, close to nature and fresh as possible. Do a little research about food, and get a few diet plans from a reputable source, the Bodybuilding.com is a great resource as well. Don't let the name intimidate you, there is alot of pertinent information available. As far as weights, invest in some 5-15 lb dumbbells and learn how to use them properly. Personal trainers post videos on youtube all the time in regards to excercises and the proper biomechanics. I would suggest incorporating a pulling day (Excercises focusing on pulling things towards you) a pushing day, and a day for legs. Try to stay as active and positive throughout the day, precook your meals, utilize this as a way to track what youre eating, and remember its a long journey, but approached with a motivated and good attitude, the momentum will gain and you'll be on the fast track to getting into a better you. :) Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions regarding nutrition or excercise!

That's awesome advice from NoWheyBro.
On the other hand, I'm currently taking it easy when it comes to exercise. (I manage to usually injure myself.) But even the little exercise that I do ends up at least helping me not to gain any more! (Amazingly, I burned almost a thousand calories making fish soup for five hours last week. What a payoff!)
My goal is to lose one pound a week and simultaneously change my eating habits for good. So I'm keeping my diet nutritious and satisfying. Success is much easier since I include some protein, fiber & water every 3 hours (5 times a day). As a rule, I've splurged at dinner once or twice a week without punishing myself the next day and still reach my goal.
NoWheyBro answered your post so generously. Those are goals we can all identify with. Even though I currently fall short of many of them, I'm still losing weight, and so can you!
