New Member with Health issues
I recently joined 2 days ago. I'm extremely limited in regards to exercise due to heart issues. At the moment I can only do max 15 mins on my treadmill at a speed of 2. I've tried to incorporate strengthening exercises twice a week and have had to stop because it is creating havoc. This is extremely frustrating to me because 2 years ago I was spinning 4 days a week at 1 hr intervals. Does anybody have any suggestions??????

Take it slow.
All good things come to those who wait.
Our culture is taught to enjoy "immediate" gratification with everything. Our heart issues don't pop up overnight, although the changes that come with having them can. We need to reboot our brains and bodies to understand that no quick fix is available.
Hang in there. And use your common sense, don't overdo it.

Chair exercises?
Chair exercises maybe? I have lots of surgeries on my kidneys and am looking for workout plans I can do during each 6 week recovery. I have heard chair exercises can be good for many health challenges.

Take it slow, eat a healthy diet and let your doctor know what you are doing.

Thanks for the support
Thank you for all of your support. I'm grateful for all of the suggestions. Thank NatalieJune for the Chair exercises suggestions. I've not heard of it. I will discuss it with my son who is a personal trainer and see what he can suggest. I am taking it slow but it hard as I'm the type of personality that it's all or nothing!!!! But you guys are all right that it will come with time. I'm just impatient as this has been going on for the past two years and just getting frustrated. I guess baby steps are better than nothing.

Chair -
workouts are as hard as you want them to be.

I used to do this when I was having foot problems.

It makes you sweat!

We have all gotten this way from time to time. Just do "anything" to stay in the game you don't need to win, just participate!
