Hi everyone new to the group. Looking to drop somewehre arond 100lbs no set number though. Work in law enforcement and found out work is brinigng in yearly physical fitness exams so I am a long way off from being able to pass one and need to get my A$! in gear. Probably the motivation I have been needing. Used to be in OK shaped when I was single, but found enough excuses to become lazy and eat what I want when ever I wanted, so that explains that. My biggest issue is eating crap, and convincing myself a the end of the day I only ate 3 healthy meals, when really its probably 5 or 6 including the snacks and junk. Anyhow look forward to hearing from everyone.

I am just beginning this diet thing, I really do not want to but my doctor says that I need to lose at least 50 lbs. I need a diet buddy to help me. I am going to begin exercising 3x weekly (thru a referral to physical therapy from my doctor.Would you share some things to make it easier? My doctor wants me to go to a 2000 calorie diet. I currently weigh 285 and I am 6ft tall Help!!
