New to the site Are my goals set to high???
Hello All,

I am new to this site and would like to see if I am setting my goals to high. I weigh 145 and I want to get down to 110. In doing so I purchased the p90x and I am hoping that I can lose a min of 3lbs per week so that by 90 days I will be at my weight loss goal. However, I am 31 with two children and a full time career (55+hours weekly) and was wondering if 3lbs per week is even possible???? I have a family gathering in June that I want to look good for.

hello
3 lbs a week isn't unheard of, but it may be a little too much...
I know that it's certainly possible.
P90X is certainly a good workout!!! My brother-in-law bought and I did a couple of the cd's....
Good luck on your weight loss journey!
Let me know if you are interested in being "friends" and we can encourage each other along!

Hello
Another newbie here tryen to learn this site! LOL I Have lots to learn and lots to do; In the past few years iv'e had some life changing events and in those events have been some unwanted pounds, unhealthy eating and sleeping habits, which of course has now took its toll on my stress levels and health!
My goal is not onlly to lose some weight,(30lbs) but to also gain a new healthier lifestyle through exercise and good food choices!
Good Luck to us all!!

Hello. New to this site and computers in general. Some of us old guys are a little behind on the curve. Any one else out there thinking the computer will make calorie counting easier? I spent a lot of time counting and making entries on excel but that was taking too much time. Hello, Eat light, work hard.
