Hi, as someone who was always active and could eat what I wanted when I wanted I never worried about more then a quick work out every six months that would last 4 to 5 weeks and go on with life.
Even after my second child I was back in shape and at goal weight within a month.

About 5 years ago I got involved in an online game (addicted should be the word there). I started putting on weight the more I sat in front of the computer, but I would realize it and work out for a bit start losing weight and the cycle kept repeating. 3 years ago I had a partial tear in my hamstring while playing softball with my children, was out of commission for a while, a year after that broke my foot. Last year depression hit when I lost my grandmother and then in August I broke my tailbone (stupid hammock fell lol)... Now I stand on a scale or have to buy new jeans and cry. NO MORE, it is time to be healthy again. So 2 months ago I switched from cigarettes to the vapor after 15 years of smoking, gave of all soda's, and then 5 weeks ago joined a gym. When I first joined the gym I couldn't make it 5 minutes on the elliptical without my pulse rising so high I got dizzy. As of last week I realized I was running 2 miles in under 30 minutes on the elliptical and can run with my children playing tag without becoming winded. I have only lost 9 pounds but have really just started watching what I eat. Being a country wife it's an interesting change from fried chicken to baked chicken, but I will get it done.
I still have 60 pounds to go to hit my goal weight hoping I've found the support group I need in this site

Track daily
food intake and exercise tracking will make you see results---or will make you realize what you are doing wrong....
