On workout tracker - why does decreasing the rest time between sets result in lower calorie burn?
I've checked various sites online, plus consulted a personal trainer, and I'm finding that less rest between sets should result in higher calorie burn.... but workout tracker is currently calculating a LOWER calorie burn. Can you help me with this? Am I doing something wrong when I'm inputting the numbers?

You're Right!
I just tested this myself and you are right. I think the folks at Fitclick have this backwards. All the sites I read also said less rest between sets gives a higher calorie burn, but when I tested a 30 second rest vs a 180 second rest between 3 sets of leg extensions (65 lbs, 15 reps) the 180 second rest sets allegedly burned over twice as many calories. This is clearly wrong!

Glad to see another in agreement!
Maybe FitClick will eventually fix this problem.

Calories Burned
We currently use a simple calculation that factors in total workout time. While you are correct that shorter rest periods will maintain a higher heart-rate, leading to more calories burned, the calories burned listed on your scorecard are a very simple estimate, not an exact value.
