Possitive Accountability-being in the solution
I need folks who are doing it. Not just want to drop weight but who are dropping weight.

sometimes it sucks not being able to eat what I want, when I want to but.....the end of the day I want to celebrate that I didnt do it! I am in the solution. sometimes I read blogs for motivation and just get frustratated cause it appears more folks write who are not living the solution and still stuck in the problem.

so how have you done something different? how are you are living the solution?

yesterday was stressful and I didnt turn to food. I pushed myself away from the dinner table after eating one serving of fish, rice and mushrooms! this is a huge change for me

thanks

Wally

It Can Be Done!
Wally, I know the frustration and the change in lifelong habits is amazingly difficult but it can be done!! I am living proof. I made slow baby-step changes during my weight loss journey that have become permanent lifestyle habits. Don't view your weight loss journey as a "temporary" diet but commit to learning a new way of looking at food and fitness and make changes that you can live with.

Wally , I agree with jjswbs2. You have to find a change you can live the rest of your life with. Even its the smallest of things but its a change. I like you,i am stess eator. I still haven't found a solution I can live with. My hats off to you for not turning to food when you were stressed, GREAT JOB. See you have proven you can do it. One one huge change I have made is in my morning coffee. I love my coffee with lots and lots of creamer. I think sometimes I have more creamer than coffee. Alot people here gave me suggestions. I tried a few and found one I know I can live with. I now use 1/2 almond milk with a little creamer in 3 cups and the last one I will treat myself to my regular cup of coffee. I am now saving 300k in the morning.
You can do it. Just one day or moment at a time.
I noticed in your dinner I didn't see any veggie except mushrooms. Wally you can load up on veggies along as they are not creamed, fried or butter.
Keep up the good work. Right now it mght now seem alot but you made a change.

Hi Walter, Sound like you are continuing on the right track. When I used to do Yoga many many years ago I was in top shape. Great job on the bike, I've never been a bike rider-actually I couldn't handle all the hills we have out here. I have continued with my coffee change. Seems like I a getting used to it. I'll have to look for another change I can live with. I got brave today and walked 50min (2.5miles) outside by myself. If you have read my other messages you would see we have problems with bears and mountain lions where I live. If I die at least I will be doing what I love.
Keep it up.
