Protien
Can anyone help me with my protein needs? I am working out 5 days a week. Treadmill/track running, Swimming laps, and then biking. A couple days a week I do kickboxing and am also starting a cycling (ymca version of spin) I can't get in to see a nutritionist until the end of April
any advice would be fantastic!

Try eating 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat.

Agree with 1144
for protein needs just take your weight and divide by 2 then add or subtract a few grams depending on your lifestyle.
Not all protein is created equal. Grass fed beef is best, and free range chicken if you like poultry...wild caught salmon is better than farmed.
If you are not a meat eater you can get protein through beans, legumes, nuts, quinoa dairy and whey. (and soy but much of the soy now is genetically altered with round up pesticides -YUCK!)
Enjoy!

Who needs a nutritionist?
You can be your own nutritionist...
do a little web surfing and be somewhat discerning with the info, you will get some good info if you educate yourself.
Best wishes.
