Quitting smoking and losing weight.
I have been working out and watching what I eat for about 5 weeks now, but have only lost 9 pounds. I get discouraged but have to remind myself I quit smoking 2 months ago. I can now officially run 2 miles in 30 minutes on the elliptical and have started getting a better night sleep. I am using the vaporcig to stop and have every plan to stop that June 1st. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep it from stopping my forward motion on my weight?

What is wrong with 9 lbs in 5 weeks? That is almost 2 lbs per week! Excellent results and perfect rate of weight loss.

I'm Proud of YOU!!!
I am working on getting rid of the smokes myself. I used to smoke nearly 2 packs per day! I had a medical scare a few weeks ago; I am currently down to 3 - 4 smokes a day. I want to be done with them, as you know it is very difficult. I have been eating healthier for about 12 weeks now and I have only lost 23 lbs.; so our average is pretty close. However, I have lost 2 inches from around my waist and my chest area; where my bra strap goes around. You have undoubtedly have lost some body fat as well but maybe you aren’t seeing it yet; others will. I would have loved losing more weight by this time but I am very proud of what I have accomplished thus far and you should be too. I have done extensive research on eating healthy; I would love to share my information with you if you would like. Just email me at [email protected]. You are doing an awesome job, keep up the great work.

Vaporcig...controversial...
Great job on the loss. However, the bigger concern would be cautious with that fake cig, they are not "just" vapor they have a really awful odor, they think they may be worse than the real thing...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7hbp0rWoJs
it contains the same ingredient in anti-freeze....yikes.
