Resveratrol may help to prevent diabetes.
NaturalNews – You may have heard about the miracle antioxidant resveratrol, found in blueberries, grapes and red wine. But did you know that these same foods also contain another phenolic compound, pterostilbene, which may help lower body fat and reduce diabetes risk?

Good For Your Heart?
I know resveratrol in Red Wine, may be heart healthy, but of course, to much alcohol can have many harmful effects on your body. I wasn't aware of the possibility of it lowering body fat or reducing the risk of diabetes. Thanks for the information.

I had a little Cab over holiday
Yes resveratrol from wine, is really because of the grapes. The alcohol has other negative effects when people indulge too much!

Lots of good wine to choose from these days. We cracked open a bottle we got at The Childress Vineyards in Lexington.

Too Far To Travel For Wine
No, I've never been to Napa Vineyards. It's about a 575 mile trip, one way from where I live in Cali. I'm down south. That's up north. Never thought about going up there because I don't like wine

Wow. You are super far from there....
Cali is a huge place...I never got out there on my cross county trip. Made it as far as Missoula MT. I wanted to see the Redwoods. That will have to be for another trip. I probably won't make it to Napa either, and I LIKE wine. L0l
