Scratching my head this week? What happened?
First week I lost 4 pounds, wasn't hungry. Second week I gained 4 pounds and was hungry the whole time. Don't get this. I think I ate more white flour in the second week. But I ate only one meat serving in that week. Confusion on the weight loss deal.

Re: Scratching my head
Before embarking on my new weight loss plan, planning what I would eat was just guess work. I tried eating less calories, eliminating all carbs, eliminating all sweets. The results were sporadic and very frustrating. Recently, I discovered a way to determine how my body responds to carbs and proteins. My body responds well to a lower carb and slightly higher protein diet. Your body may respond better to a high carb and lower protein diet. Once you learn how your body reacts to carbs and proteins, you will be able to eat accordingly and lose weight consistently without being hungry.

Re: Scratching my head
It might be that 4 lbs/week means you're losing weight too fast, and your metabolism slows down the next week to compensate. Water weight could also play a part. Right now I'm shooting for losing 6 lbs/month, but most people can safely lose 10 lbs/month.
