Shift workers
Hi everyone, I'll be 50 this year and though I have always had trouble with my weight, it now seems an impossible struggle. I did so-so until about 5 years ago when I switched careers and took a sit down job. I had always worked in a job with continuous walking, but now I sit in front of a monitor and the weight piled on. I'm currently 186, for years I was able to maintain 135 by eating 1 meal a day, not anymore! I work nights and to try some of the weight loss plans out there base your eating on daytime hours. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I feel your pain!.
I used to work 12 hour nights. I would work out after work before I went to bed...only b/c I couldnt get out of bed before work. Watch out for those 2-3am cravings. I would also want a huge meal when I got home. In addition, I would be too tired on my days off to go and be active..much less work out.
What I did was workout after work (at 8am).I would a 'dinner' at 5am to I wouldn't be hungry when I got home. I also had to be very careful about comfort eating b/c I felt tired/ sick all of the time. Keep in mind with anything- diet, relationships, sleeping, etc...2pm is YOUR 2am.....be nice to your body or you'll only feel worse!!! Hope this helped!
