Starting my new years resolution now!
Ok so maybe I don't belong in this group (need to lose 45) but close enough. I know how to lose weight, I know what to eat, I know I should drink water but I can go days without drinking water or eating vegetables. A friend told me to track everything so I'm sure my first week is going to be a realization of how much fat, sodium and carbs I eat., but here goes. Not going through another summer chunky.

Weight loss
If you are not drinking water and vegetable for days, what are you doing? If you are going days without water and vegetables then that is a problem. Weight loss has a lot of things that take place. Exercise is essential no magic pill or surgery to get. I have seen what that can do. Hard work and Dedication. Empty anything not healty in trash and get it out of house.

What I do..
I have been doing the fruits and vegetables and water and protein. It helps me to have fruits for snacks and have vegetables in my lunch and supper. I have a sandwich every day. (tuna, fat free turkey, salmon) with lettece tomatoes etc..) suppers I have fish, chicken, steak etc. and a salad.) It is working for me. I have lost 7lbs in 7 days!! If i am hungry inbetween out comes the blueberries, raspberries, grapes, etc.
Pistashios have some fat in it but they are good for you. It is a good snack also when you're hungry. Good luck.

Resolutions...
It is a great idea to start now and be not get stuck in the January resolution cycle of the culture. Healthy choices are a great year-round habit not just for January.

Resolutions
I have to agree with jj you have to make healthy choices all year. To accomplish your goals these four components you will be successful, cardio, weight training, stretching, and nutrition. Have a good day.

God Luck Little Lady
Matt always has good advice. No quick fix. Staying fit and healthy takes hard work and dedication. And I agree with jjswbs2 too, it's great that your starting your good habits now, as opposed to waiting until January. All the best to you for a happy and healthy holiday season.
