Staying Within the Calorie Range
Just started tracking my workouts and food intake on this website. My caloric range is 1,250 - 1,350. Today, my calories entered totaled 1207. I haven't had my evening snack yet but quite frankly, I don't feel like I want it (probably because I just walked three miles and drank some water).
Here is the question: If I just don't meet the range of calories, does it hinder my losing weight like I hoped? I don't mind losing it faster, I just don't want it to mess me up.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks for any insight.

Hello,
The more calories you burn the better you are. Making sure you eat right. Jullian Michaels email once about sometimes by going over a few 100 calories can be good and can change up metabolism rate. The body gets use to the same calories and will go in a slow state. If that helps. Of course, I depends on what type of snack you eat. You don't want potato chips for example.

I'm not sure about that....I never questioned it myself! rmatt06 sounds like he knows what he's talking about... maybe that's what is wrong with my losing weight--I stay with the same amt of calories each day.

Yes! That's it!
I appreciate the reminder. No, I've been pretty careful with my food choices. I'm new here and am more motivated than I realized and didn't want to start off on the wrong foot.
Thanks for both of your responses - it helped me to realize not to stay with the same exact amount of calories and continue to make good food choices if I go higher on my range.
