Strength Training For Children
I've always heard that resistance training will " stunt a child's growth". Now, I hear it may be advisable for children to strength train. Is strength training safe for children?

I have read that according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, fears about weight training affecting growth are unfounded. I am sure that they also have recommendations for what age is too young and how much is too much ;)

My take on any kind of training the child has to be mature. Some kids are ready at a young age the rest want to be at the playground.

Better than them sitting on the computer.
They would have to do it daily and heavily for it to negatively impact their health I would think.

Size matters
Small sized children would be questionable in my opinion.
