Suggestions for Removing fat from gravies/etc...
After cooking pork chops in it's own drippings gravy, I decided to post how I remove most fat from the gravy... I will usually cook the night before then will retain the liquid in a separate container...In the morning all I have to do is scrape off the hardened fat and discard... Of course I also cut all fat from the pork chop before cooking but the bone will release some of the marrow which contains fat! Do you have any helpful hints that might be easier and less time consuming?

Cooking Spray
I pan cook boneless pork loin chops using cooking spray. Sometimes I use a little white wine to simmer them in along with apples and some cinnamon.

gravies
For pork I just use a little water---no oil (spray or other kind) at all....the onions and mushrooms add enough liquid that I don't need anything.
