Congratulations
You will do well, joining the military is a big step and it take courage and i think you will do well. I think you should focus on eating a healthier diet, running, crunches, and gradually work your way up to pull ups. It's not all easy but with practice you can get there. Recruiting stations sometimes offer physical training in the morning so you can just ask them to help you get ready. I hope this was somewhat helpful have a great day and lonce again congratulations!

Navy Training
First of all I would like to say Congratulations and Good Luck! What an awesome and exciting adventure :)

You need to consider what your current strengths and weaknesses are before you can decide what you need to work on the most.

If you've got great stamina but need to work on your strength I would recommend trying out CrossFit to help you prepare for Navy boot-camp-- I have a ton of friends who do it and its an awesome but INTENSE workout.

If you think stamina is one of your weaknesses I would definitely recommend trying the Insanity workout from Beachbody. Insanity is a really great cardio workout which will undoubtedly increase your stamina and help prepare you for boot-camp. Here's the link if you want to check it out: http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/insanity.do
