VERY FRUSTRATED : Community Message Boards

VERY FRUSTRATED
I am inputting everything I eat, making sure i eat a certain amount of calories( that come from fruits, veggies, protein and complex carbs) AND exercising at least 6 days a week. I also drink a lot of water. Last week i lost 2 pounds no problem, but somehow this week I am gaining them back even though I am doing the same things. No it's not muscle because I haven't done a lot of strength training exercises. I just don't know what to do.

Very Frustrated
I hear your pain. Just don't give up. Sometimes - if you are not feeling well, or are over stressed, the body does tend to retain some water (at least that's what I am finding), so maybe it will rectify itself by next week.
now - leave that chocolate alone !!! -- I know all about frustration adn temptation :) - Jenn

Ok, Skoop for fast weight loss
I have lost 22 lbs since January, 2011
Here is my plan, no exercse involved, try it yourself
||No Fruits of any kind, No fruit juices of any Kind, No artificial junk in boxes or cans,

Breakfast : 2 eggs scrambled, 2 slices of Turkey or Chicken Bacon
Lunch: Salad with small amount of fish or Chicken, little dressing, make your own with olive oil

Snacks: Celery sticks, Carrot sticks, with a dip like humus/ chickpea
Dinner: Salad with chicken, fish, soup

Dont give up!!!!
Try eating the fruits during the mornings as well as the carb. During the afternoons or nights just eat proteins an salad. A lot of cardio if you can....... Good Luck!!!!!

Ex. Breakfast - Kellogs Special K Cereal, Fat Free Milk. Whole Weat Toast...... 7-8am
Ex. Morning Snack- Banana, Blueberries, Apple...10-11am
Ex. Lunch - Tuna Fish, 3 White Eggs Boiled, Broccoli, Carrots, Celery....1-2pm
Ex. Afternoon Snack- Fat Free Cottage Cheese, Turkey Ham, Light Yogurt....4-5pm
Ex. Dinner - Chicken Breast, Fish, Turkey, Green Salad, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Red Onion......7pm
Ex. Night Snack - Fat Free Gelatine

You can change in accordance with your taste but try the carb and fruits before 5pm.....after that just protain......

Don't Fixate On the Numbers
Hi! I have lost almost 140 lbs. in the last two years, with the help of a personal trainer. My trainer only allows weigh-ins every two weeks, and he always measures with a tape measure or uses body fat calipers. Often the measuring indicates to him that there has been a loss that the body has not registered, yet. Sure enough, I usually show better numbers at the next weigh-in (as long as I don't fixate on the numbers and console myself with four chocolate cakes).

Try to leave numbers out of your goal-setting. Instead of saying, "I will lose 2 pounds this week", say "I will stay on my nutritional plan this week."
