Broad Question
That is a broad question. I eat healthy foods. I started at 2000 calories a day and lost 230 lbs. I still eat healthy but I am taking in between 3500 to 4000 calories a day to maintain my weight. I could list every food I eat but it would be a very, very long list. Are you looking for something specific?

No, nothing specific,

I lost 30 pounds and have been up 5 down 5 for about a year at 2200 to 3500 cals.
I ex for about 45 to 90 minutes per day.

Eating habits
I have refined my diet over the year. This is the basic intake that has been working for me. I write down everything I eat and these are daily numbers: 10 servings of fruits and vegetables, 1-2 yogurts, 1 serving peanut butter, 1 serving nuts, 0.8 grams time my body weight in protein, less than 30% of my calories from fat, less than 60% of my calories from carbs (400-600 grams), less than 2300 grams of sodium, and minimum 4700 grams of potassium. I don't eat fried foods. I get a minimum of three serving of seafood a week (usually 5-6). I eat red meat (beef usually steak once a week). I try to eat a sweet potato, and two boiled eggs 5 times a week. I drink plenty of water. I don't drink soft drinks or caffeinated drinks. Most important, I take one day a week off (usually holidays, Saturdays, Sundays or when there is a party) and l loosen my eating habit and don't fret over what I ate the next day.

For me it was all about portion control
Sure i try to eat healthier as well but portion control seems to be working best for me. One of the best things I can say is know what the calories and serving sizes are of what you eat. I mean I was shocked to find (and I use this example a lot) that a Super Sonic Cheeseburger with mayo averages out to about 1000 calories. Pizza is usually pretty big as well so I try to stay from stuff like that.
