What cardio works for you?
Love it or hate it, cardio exercises are vital. What do you do to burn calories and keep your heart rate up?

Elliptical
The elliptical with full body arm bars is the ultimate. The calories burnt are significant - usually pushing upwards of 600-700 calories in a 45 minute jaunt. I usually use the bars to do bench press style motions and machine row pulls in alternating motions ... It really gets the heart rate going ... Def. recommend making the most of these machines ... They are amazing.

Zumba
I have done step classes, spinning, elliptical etc and I actually enjoy all of them for their own reasons, but the best by far in my books is Zumba!! It's totally fun, keeps you going like crazy, and you burn about 700 cal per hour. By far the best cardio I think because you also work all muscle groups at the same time. Music is great and it's actually enjoyable!

Zumba?
Hey abedbug,

I've never heard of Zumba before, so I did some research... It sounds like a lot of fun! I'll have to look more into it!
