What do you think!!
Avoid gluten and you avoid refined carbs. Is that the weight loss secret?

Processed and refined foods.
I have cut out most of those foods, but eat whole grains in moderation. Really trying to eat real food most of the time.

I know for a fact it works, b/c that is how I lost the bulk of my weight. Cutting way back on that stuff, encorporating more NON GMO whole grain, and yes trying when I can NOT to eat pre-made,pre-packaged foods.

Recently, I thought I found a winner with the new Fiber One Brownies only 90 cals & a whopping 5 grams of fiber! Unfortunately they have "bleached whole wheat flour processed with alkali" and aluminum from the baking and powder partially hydrogenated oil etc. I am disgusted by some of the ingredients in these supposedly "fiber rich/low calorie health snacks."

Such garbage.

I have to agree with all of you I'm the same way. At home we are gluten free but I don't tell my friends. Because I still like going over to there house for dinner and I don't want them thinking they have to make a special dinner for us. A little gluten a little heartburn is ok once in awhile.
