Mine would have to be the notorious Haggis when in Scotland. It was absolutely awful.

What is the strangest food I ever ate?
Since I have lived in several different continents that is an interesting question for me. I think it would have to be a green slimy sauce made with wild greens, dried okra and palm oil, eaten over rice. It was eaten with our hands and when I dipped my hand into it the red palm oil and slimy okra texture would crawl up to my elbow! Although I loved most African food, this was my least favorite.

In-flight meal in China
That has got to be an in-flight breakfast we were given on an internal flight in China. We were asked if we wanted a "western" breakfast but decided to be adventurous and went for the "eastern" breakfast - BIG MISTAKE! - we were given a dish of pale green "gloop" which had the same texture and smell as wallpaper paste together with a little bag of picked vegetables - needless to say husband and I went hungry for the next few hours!

I don't have any because I'm not adventurous. I go by two rules if it doesn't look good or smell good I'm not going to put it in my mouth. There is way to much good food in the world that I don"t have to be adventrurous.
