Kids are a great motivator
I used to not do activities because I didn't want to embarrass my kids or embarrass myself. The most embarrassing thing for me was being turned away from a ride at an amusement park that my daughter really wanted to go on. Never in my life was I so ashamed and have been determined to never feel that way again.

old age
I seem to feel older, but when I see old folk doing a brisk walk or moving spryly I feel inspired to keep up. It's pretty sad when I am 30 years younger than a person who could kick my *ss LOL

My WHY
I think back to why I started in the first place. I was overweight, uncomfortable, got winded easily, and just didn't feel like myself. I decided I owed myself more than that and made a promise to me, my family, and especially my daughter, I would never be in that situation again. 90 days later I had lost over 20lbs and felt better than I'd felt my entire life. Knowing that 1) I made that initial promise and 2) how good it feels to stay committed and follow through on your goals keeps my fire burning and made me set out on a journey of self-discovery and helping others doing the same.
