What to bring to work
I work in an office, and the break room fridge is kind of disgusting because it's hardly ever cleaned out. Does anyone have ideas for lunches and snacks I can bring to work that are healthy and ready to eat, without needing refrigeration? The microwave isn't too bad, so I can use that. Thanks!

Snacks
My no refrigerated snacks are unsalted peanuts, walnuts, cashews, oranges, bananas, air popped pop corn, wheat crackers, raisins, dried pineapples, dried mangoes, peaches, individual packaged applesauce, and pistachios to name a few.

pack a lunch
I have the same problem at work, so I put cold packs in my lunch and put it in a locker. It keeps everything cold enough, and then I can use the microwave if needed.

snacks
I use to make my own high fiber/high protein bars before, but now I just bring frosted mini-wheats to snack on

Great ideas!
These ideas are very helpful. And peascarrots, I don't know why I didn't think of bringing a small cooler to put meals in. I can bring my snacks and healthy frozen meals and still use the microwave. THANKS!

Freeze your drink
I freeze my drink bottle of water, then put it in my lunch bag. By lunch time it is slushy (the way I like my water - ice cold) and my lunch was properly cooled.
