What was your favorite Christmas gift this year?
I got a whole day with the family home and together! Gifts were simple. The kids are getting older so not as exciting as with the little ones. ;)

Gifts...the best ones are the ones GIVEN.
I received nothing for Christmas.
I am okay with that. My daughter received just a handful of gifts. She celebrates Christmas every day, we give her mostly love, but she gets stuff all the time. It's true when they are young, Christmas is magical.

Time together with my whole family
I agree with most who have already replied - time with my entire family (most of whom live out of town) is the most precious gift ever. As a family, we are complete Christmas nuts; we love the food, love the movies, love to decorate! But the best part is having my parents and siblings and their families all together under the same roof, laughing about the same ol'Christmas stories that make us laugh each year.
That being said, this sentimental Christmas nerd was running around showing everyone her new diamond pendant on Christmas morning. My BF wanted to thank me for taking care of him when he had an organ transplant earlier that year. It was this intense period of caregiving that led to gaining the weight that I'd worked so hard to lose in 2010. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably end up putting myself second for less time. But let's hope I don't ever have to do it again! *knock on wood*
