today's fiber foods
I had 80 grams of fiber today. The biggest sources...
5.5 grams from the 20 grams of ground flax seed (in my breakfast smoothie and afternoon yogurt parfait)
14 grams from the 2 high fiber tortillas in my lunch turkey wraps
10 grams from the 1 oz of Kashi Go-Lean in my afternoon yogurt parfait
9 grams from the Deep Chocolate VitaTop at breakfast
8 grams from the Banana Nut VitaTop at evening snack
4 grams from the Skinny Cow ice cream at evening snack
12 grams from the bowl of popcorn at dinner
4 grams from the Kashi TLC bars at lunch

Fiber
Wow, jjwbs2, 80 grams is an impressively huge amount of fiber!
I second 1144 on the beans, too.
I try to get at least 26 grams of fiber a day. There are some lo cal high fiber English muffins that taste great toasted with a little butter and jam or nutella. Raw carrots, raw celery, and cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes make good munching fiber food for almost no calories. Or raw red bell peppers. Cooked asparagus or broccoli are also good. Basically any time you can have a salad or veggie stir fry, that adds to fiber without adding too many calories.
If you want the fiber of beans without eating "beans", you can eat frozen peas for your vegetable.
Avocado has an amazing amount of fiber in it too. Just watch the fat and calories -- moderation.
Even dark chocolate has a little fiber!
Berries!! Fiber, yumminess, and low cal. I think berries, beans, carrots, and tomatoes are my favorites.

Fiber
I discovered that the more fiber I eat the more I can eat in general while still maintaining a healthy weight and keeping bf% low. I VERY GRADUALLY increased my fiber to this level over a period of time. I do not recommend eating this much fiber until your body is gets used to it by adjusting slowly over time.
