Yikes! Turning the Nifty 50 next month.
I have allowed my weight to creep up again. I am tired of feeling like I am on a 'diet', but truthfully that is my life. If I don't watch what I eat and keep my weight down I have it in me to balloon.
Looking for support and encouragement, ideas and sharing.

think it happens to us all :(
Hi Everyone,
karlykookoo you made me laugh about your dog losing 30lbs LOL. Ever thought of taking his meds? just kidding. I'm sure your doctor will help you eventually don't understand why he isn't already. I'm in the same boat as the rest of you but I know its my own fault I take in far too many calories in a day so i've started tracking them and eating fruit during the day something I never eat always did have bad eating habits. I lost 2lbs this week so not so bad. I too need to start exercising but find it difficult to get motivated after a hard days work and having to prepare meals when I get home but I WILL DO IT. I've opened a thread under motivation. 10lbs a month. I'm hoping that others will post and we can motivate each other to eat better and exercise daily. Good Luck Ladies.

50...yuck
I turned 50 in December....yuck. 50 used to be old!! I did Weight Watchers for over a year and lost 40 pounds. Then had some family stuff and just let it drop.....have gained 20 of it back. I do not want to gain any more back and I want to lose the 20 again and 20 more. I've been on this site since Wednesday and I love the tracker!! I just can't get motivated......it's so hard to start up again!!

50. . . not so Yuck!
You know, klpy1, motivation is over rated. You are in for the long haul so just put your head down and get on with it. They say that is no more optimistic time than the first day of a diet. Well, if you think about it, you realize you have to stick with it so long that you must make habits to pull you through. Motivation is good and necessary but deep, sincere commitment will deliver on the good days and the bad. concentrate on today. You will prevail. You will.
