how can I find out how much body fat I should have I have been droping it
when started was 41.8 now down to 36.5 I know I can go lower but how do I findout whats avg Im mid 40's (the scale dosnt move) just going for a nice fig toned any sugestions

Aim for below 30%
TB - Essential fat for women is 10% (i.e. you'll have health probs including losing your period if you go below that).

Normal for women under 39 is 21-32%, athletic is 18-25%. Normal for women over 39 is 23-35%. I personally find that most women are happiest with their bodies between 22 and 25% - that's the range where you look and feel toned and slim but still have some womanly curves. Your ideal range may be slightly different depending on your natural body type too (straight up and down, hourglass, pear). Where you put fat on and take it off totally depends on your genetics. Some women can slim down to a flat stomach and toned legs and keep their boobs, others lose their boobs straight away when they start working out. Fortunantly anyone can build a butt with muscle, but what you're working with up top is up to God and your momma (and your plastic surgeon - ha!).

A cursory search online will give you ranges that differ slightly from expert to expert but most will be within that range. Pretty much everyone agrees on the essential 10%.

And btw, congrats on a spectatular decrease from 42 to 36%!! You must feel so much better and you've definitely decreased your risk factors for all types of diseases. Way to go!!
