bad weekend
Didn't do much but play all weekend. Didn't eat right just what was handy and available. I see everyone around me every weekend never count calories or watch what they eat. We have fish fries almost every other weekend in summer and I'm the only one who doesn't eat what We cook. We have wagon and horse rides a lot too and I'm the only one who has to have special food and doesn't eat what everyone does. It's starting to feel like I'm alienated myself all our friends or might just be me being paranoid. Anyone else feel this way?

Yes!!
I know exactly how you feel!! Remember what your goals are :)

A phrase I use (heard it in another context but it works here too) is "I will live like no one else so I can LIVE like no one else!" I don't eat like most of the people around me and I don't have the same lifestyle habits as most of the people around me but when I did, I weighed 120 lbs more and I was a size 22/24. NOW I am not overweight/obese like most of the people around me and don't have the same health issues as most of the people around me.

I try to find good options at outings and picnics but when that isn't possible I pack my own food and try to stay on track. Most of my friends and family are used to it now but I am almost to my 3-year anniversary of my lifestyle change so it has taken time. This will be my 4th summer of my new habits.

You're not paranoid.
It is hard when others with bad eting habits surround us on the weekend. Have the fish fry but ask for it broiled or eat the fish out of the batter and have steamed broccoli instead of fries. Small changes can have big results over time :)

Thank you
Thank you both for your kind words. JJ you are so right I just came from that size myself because of the eating habbits of my new relationship 4 years ago and all the fish fries him and his friends and familie have. It was a big change in how I ate, I wasnt raised on fried foods. But in order to fit in I changed my habbits. They are all great people and know I am serious about getting back down to where I was before so Im sure no one is snickering behind my back or making comments. My goals are whats important and I will stick to them all summer no matter how many cook outs we have. They are so fun and we all enjoy them so I wont let my good eating habbits spoil my fun either. Its nice to hear its not just me that has these feelings
