gaining weight
i have been doing this for 2 weeks so far, watching my calorie intake, and walking 1-3 miles a day(mostly when i work which is almost everyday) and even the days i dont walk a mile i either eat below my calorie intake for the weight i want to be or i eat just at it. so i dont understand how i gained 7lbs since starting. its making me not want to continue it, but idk what to think also :( help!

Help is on the way!
This same thing happened to me. Right now your body is saying what in the heck are you doing. You are probably gaining muscle weight. Keep walking and away from salty foods. Some of the weight could be water weight.

What ever you do keep moving. Once you stop you will find excuses not to move at all.

don't give up
I have found that all exercise is not equal. For me, cardio exercise is the best. I lose pounds and my heart is getting healthier. I suggest using a heart monitor and finding the heart range appropriate for your age. If you don't elevate your heart rate during exercise, it's not cardio. You can find your ideal numbers online. Of course, check with your doctor first. I don't know if there are other health factors. I'm cheering for you. Don't give up. If you stay the course, you will succeed.

Heart monitor
Most def invest in a heart monitor - it keeps you on track and allows you to push yourself.
