hard boiled eggs
I'll like to share a secert for perfect eggs. I learned my nephew-the cook.
Bring water to a boil and add a palm size full of salt to the boiling water. Then add your eggs. Boil for 20 min then put the eggs in ice water for about 15min. They peels so easily and can be stored in water for a week. Works everytime.

I boil for 10 minutes, take them off the stove and keep covered for 30. Works great.

i haven't learned how to get rid of the smell. Maybe simmering cinnamon while you're peeling them.
Last night I smelled liked a hard boiled egg-LOL.
My daughter, granddaughter and I went to Pagosa Springs ,Co which is about 1 hour away. We sprend the evening in the natural hot springs.

Boiling eggs
Easily peeled eggs depends on the freshness of the egg--the fresher the egg the harder to peel, in my opinion.. I am an energy saver and place my eggs in the cold water first then get the water boiling...when the water just starts to boil I shut the stove off. The eggs will cook in the hot water... Just leave the eggs in the water for abt 20 min. I also do pasta like this. Once I made a spinach salad for work which includes lots of boiled eggs. My co worker told me to go and eat it in the conference room bc it smelled so bad! LOL

Me too!
I eat boiled egg whites for the protein, daily at work and I get snide comments too, but then I remind them of times they brought stinky foods or cooked something stinky in the microwave and that usually is that!
