workout suggestion
You need to do cardio, cardio, cardio.... I know it sucks but you won't see your abs no matter how many crunches you do unless you do the cardio.
Workout with the kids at the park or playing, workout in front of the TV, I found a Yoga in Bed DVD the other day. Workout all the time. Once you do about 2 weeks, your body will crave the workouts and you will not need so much motivation. Plus you will start seeing results and that is good reason to motivate.
I'm here if you need a friend. Good luck!

Forget the cardio....weight training burns fat!!!!!!!
Forget cardio only.....use it to warm up and do some large muscle weight training WITH the cardio.
Weight training BURNS FAT!!!!!!!!
Especially when you train large muscles and train your core.
Good luck, hun. You are not alone.

Burning fat
I agree. You must do strength training, but you must use compound exercises that work more than one muscle group such as squats, body weight execises, and deadlifts. These exercises incorporate more muscle to do the exercise which in turn burn more fat.
