hi from las vegas
here's my introduction.... i'm christie, i'm 45, i'm a happily married empty-nester with two daughters, two sons in law, and three grandsons. one of my daughters is working on trying to give me a grand-daughter next.
i also have five cats... baby, holly and olivia are approximately 5 years old or so. they were all rescue cats so i don't know for sure. dax and jordy are old men... dax being 16 years old, and jordy is my 18 year old himalayan. he's my only pure-bred cat, and i've had him since he was ten months old. i don't know if he'll see another christmas with me, but i hope if he does, he can still enjoy it.
i'm also a christian. i wish i was better at making my heavenly Father proud, but i'm sure glad His grace is sufficient even for me!
i hate veggies. at least the ones that are good for ya. and yet i'm on a low carb diet. i've learned to be very creative to keep from getting burnt out on this LC diet. i'm doing much better this time than i did the first time i tried it three years ago. in '07 when i did low carb, i was disciplined, but miserable. this time i'm actually not sacrificing taste!
ok, enough about me... anyone here have anything in common with me?
