how to easily calculate calories your consuming...
Hey everybody!
I'm very new to this site, as well as "counting calories". I've started counting calories because I really wanted to get a more accurate idea of what I'm actually eating - and it's been very eye opening!!!
I found this website that will easily calculate the ingredients which you add to your meal that you're preparing. I'm not advocating the time consuming counting forever, but maybe for a week you'd be interested in knowing what your own creations come in at, as opposed to prepared meals which are often loaded with sodium.
Cheers!

What is the website for counting calories
I am trying to get motivated for a weight loss program. I need to know what I am consuming in calories before I begin reducing. What is the website for counting calories?

Home recipe calorie counting
Sparkpeople.com has a feature where you input your ingredients for your own recipe/a cookbook recipe, input the number of servings and it will tell you the nutrition/calorie content per serving of that recipe. Great if you cook yourself rather than use pre packaged foods.

Calorie.count.com
caloriecount.com is a good one. It has tons of 'eat out' places and the counts on their food, i.e. Subway, Panda Express... It has everything from apples to zucchini, and all the processed or unprocessed foods in between.
I use it everytime that I have to go out to lunch with friends, or just to count the calories in what I'm cookin'at home. I think I'm going to check out that Sparklepeople website though. That one may be easier for home cooking.
