i need advice
what kind of diet plan should i use to reach my goals of building muscel mass and get defined? i'm new to working out so i'm sure on which steps to take , so if you can help that would be greatly appreciated . thank you in advance

it really depends on what your build is right now. but in general, you should be increasing your protein intake (anywhere from .75g or 1g per pound of bodyweight). personally, i stick to lighter proteins such as poultry, pork, fish and other seafoods. although beef is a great source of protein, it also brings along a lot of unwanted fats and calories. and be sure that you're sticking primarily to complex carbs (most veggies, oats, brans, whole grain breads). simple carbs (products containing white flour IE: baked goods, white rice, white bread, candy, soda, etc) contain simple sugars that will basically negate or impede progress in muscle definition.
