i need help on how to use this site
Hello, I am new to this site. Today was the first day that i used it. i am wanting to know how to use this site coeerctly. If anyone can help me out, that would be great. I understand how to plan my meals and get my calories. i know how to plan a workout. I am focused on mainly losing some weight and toneing my body, such as abbs, legs, buttocks,
and chest. The work out I am doing is a total body and cardio workout useing only my body weight. Here is a discription of my workout. First I do some light stretching, them I do a brisk walk for 30 minutes. Then I do a cool down walk at a slower pace for about 5 minutes. I then do a core work out useing the following excercises, squats 12 reps, pushups 12 reps, forward lunges 12 reps, crunches 12 reps, for 1 cycle with a 30 second rest between reps. I then repeat the entire cycle again. i check my pulse after each cycle. It is staying at 109 beats per minute. I plan on doing this same workout every day for the next 2 weeks. Is this going to be enough to get me in a better health standing before I move on to lifting weights. As I said before my goal is to lose about ten pounds and tone my body before i start to consider building muscle mass. Pleas help if you can, thanks,
Steve

hopefully this will help
There is a toning program on here if that is what you are looking for. Go under Workout and fitness and then got to exercise programs. You can choose Toning and then beginner, and then women or man and it will give you a Toning program that is four weeks long ( for women and I don't know how long for men). You can repeat it as many times as you like. For the beginner women toning program they want you to start out with 8 lbs and 10 lb weights I did not have this All I had was 2lb and 10 lbs so I used the 2 lbs and just added reps to it and for some of the 10 lbs stuff I did the same thing. I have since then bought some 5lbs but I have also been able to use the 10 lbs weights whereas when I first started out they were to heavy so instead of doing 15 reps I had to lower it to 5 reps. You can adjust it to whatever you are capable of doing and just type that in where it say to type in what you did. You can work your way up to what they want you to do and then switch out to the next level in the toning until you reach the tone you want. UUuuuhhmmmm, the program mixes both cardio and strength training. Some days you will do both and some days you will only do cardio. It tries to get you up to a run by the end of the first week. I however have very weak ankles and do not run I just type it into a speed walk. Which I really don't speed walk I also adjust the Pace level to a three or four. I try to walk 2+ miles a day and I walk about the rate of 3+ miles an hr. So it is not that fast, but I do get my cardio in. If you do any house work you can count that in to it is under household tasks. I believe mowing the lawn and gardening is under cardio as well. Just scroll through cardio and you will be surprised at some of the normal everyday stuff that they have listed on here.
