lost and am gaining it back
I am not the most motivated person . I was sick last year and lost 31 pounds in 30 days and then about 15 more pounds in the following 3 mos.. I was getting into clothing that I had not seen in years. Now , am gaining and have been for months. I have a tread mill and try to do at least 2 miles at 2 to 3 mph. and with an incline of 7.0 but am losing motivation.. I also am having a time with increased fat grams. My husband does the cooking ( he enjoys it) so he fixes fatty dishes .. buys icecream and junk.. its not all the time but enough.. I can't seem to drop this now. I am depressed

Husbands...grrrr...
My husband enjoys shopping and cooking too... and eating. I know he means well, but it makes it hard for me too. Do you want to be buddies?

I blame myself
I also live with a man who likes to grocery shop and cook. For dinner he loves casseroles, large cuts of meat and the like. I have gained 15 pounds since we got together 3 years ago. There are days I blame him for my weight gain, but then again I have to remind myself that he is not forcing food down my throat, nor is he piling the food onto my plate. Everything he cooks is healthy, but I tend to take larger portions than I need-partly because his son lives with us and he will take everything that isn't bolted down. I am just trying to keep from starving to death, right?! LOL I am learning to dole out less food than I have been, and if I don't feel that what he cooks is good for me, then I always have a bag of frozen shrimp on hand for those days.
