need an online partner
i am overweight and wanting to start exercising and eating right. The problem i have is i dont have any support here. I have gone through alot of difficulties from being with an abusive person to my 17yr old son getting hit and killed. I am so sad and i just need someone to just listen to me. I have not always been big but everything that goes on in my life keeps me turning to food since i have no one to really turn to.

Omg. I am so sorry this must be tough!
Food can be a friend or an enemy, but it is just food. We need to eat, to live. It's good that you are choosing to be here and be accountable-no matter what devastations we have experienced, we all still have to go on.

in 2004 I lost my 38 yr old brother in a horrific car accident that also injured his entire family (including paralyzing my 8 year old nephew from the waist down). in 2007 my father died suddenly and unexpectedly. in 2008 my mother died after a long illness. After enduring those 5 years I was at an emotional turning-point. I could either totally fall apart and lose myself to grief and devastation or surrender to God all of my fears and dark emotions and allow Him to sustain and heal me! That difficult choice led me to become more physically, emotionally and Spiritually healthy than I had ever been in my life. When we are at unfathomable lows we have the opportunity to build something wonderful out of the ashes. I hope you find courage to move onto something wonderful from here :) <3
