protein needed!
I am having a hard time getting enough low fat protein in my day, the obvious : lean meat, eggs, string cheese .... but what else can I do?
Ideas?

I always drink a Carnation Breakfast Essential no sugar added drink every morning after I get up. It has 13g of protein and 150 cals. They are good and really fills me up and gets you moving. Also has a lot of vitamins and minerals. Almonds are also packed with a lot protein. I hope more people post some ideas cause I would love some different choices too.

thanks Cowgirl, I also like a protein shake in the morning and am looking for one that does not have any artificial sugars, once I find one I will let you know!

Greek Yogurt
I eat Greek yogurt daily... use the fat-free plain variety and then add your own extras. The pre-flavored and pre-sweetened stuff is overpriced and full of unhealthy things. Greek yogurt has similar protein content to cottage cheese with less sodium :)
