strength training rest time
why does the calorie burn go down when you decrease the rest time. example: machine chest press goes from 50 calories burned at 60 seconds rest to 27 at 10 seconds?

I have changed the rest time frequently but,
never noticed that aspect. It's weird b/c if anything you need to work HARDER with less rest, so obviously you would be burning more on exertion, but maybe you should send them an email?

Maybe just track its 60 secs so you get the credit for the
cals burned?

I like surprises
It doesn't bother me personally that it might not track all the calories burned. Because then that just means happy surprises on the scale for me later!

I don't know what the solution is, but I suggest you
just track more reps.

Easy
It takes more effort to get to your fat burning zone....once you are there, your calorie count will decrees ....just keep your heart rated in your zone....that's the most important part.
