weighing potatoes...
if the food is listed as a, for example, "baked potato," would i weigh the food before or after cooking?

Sometimes people enter foods and describe them as "cooked". For example, 4 oz of cubed cooked chicken, in that case it is the weight after cooking. For a baked potato though, its clearly the weight raw.
