In a glass pan, mix together the first ingredients and the Chinese five-spice powder.

Add the chicken and coat both sides with the mixture.

Cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave 5 minutes.

Uncover the chichen breasts and turn them over in the pan. Reseal tightly and microwave for another 5 minutes or until thermometer reads 160 degrees.

Mix together the corn starch and water.

Remove the chicken breasts from the pan and keep warm on a serving plate, reserving the liquid.

Add the corn starch and water mixture to the reserved liquid and stir well.

Cover the pan with plastic wrap again and microwave for 1-1/2 minutes. Stir the sauce and then pour over the chicken breasts to serve.
