Heat milk slowly in double boiler till steaming

Mix eggs and sugar in separate bowl.

Poor a tiny bit of heated milk in egg mixture while continuously stirring ensuring eggs down start to scramble.

add all milk to eggs

Poor mixture back into double boiler and heat until desired thickness

Let rest to cool then add a vanilla and mix well
