American Goulash

1/2  tablespoon		extra virgin olive oil
1-1/2  cups		chopped onion
1  lb.		lean ground beef
2		large cloves garlic,s minced
1  teaspoon		mortons seasoning
1  teaspoon		ground pepper
14  ounces		no salt added diced tomatoes, undrained
8  ounces		no salt added tomato sauce
1  cup		low sodium beef broth
1-1/4  cups		elbow macaroni
2  tablespoons		Cheddar Cheese

Step 1
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and beef; cook, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add garlic, seasoning, and pepper; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes and their juices, tomato sauce and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add macaroni and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender, 6 to 9 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
