Melt 1 Tbsp. buttery spread in saucepan. Stir in whole wheat flour. Stir until roux begins to get thick. Add milk, broth, and salt. Stir continuously until thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Mix egg white and lemon juice with a whisk. Mix slowly into roux.
Return pan to heat and stir constantly until well blended and thick.
Add parmesan cheese and additional 1/2 Tbsp of buttery spread.
