Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cook pasta according to package directions

While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the Smart Balance.

Whisk in the flour and dry mustard, and keep it moving for about five minutes until well-blended and free of lumps.

Add milk, onion, bay leaf, and paprika. Simmer for ten minutes, then remove bay leaf.

Stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Stir until smooth.

Fold in drained macaroni, salt and pepper to taste, and pour into 2 quart casserole dish.

Top with remaining cheese, and bake for 25 minutes.
