Mix ground pork, 1/4 cup of the chopped raw onions, and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Form into balls. In a pan, sautee rest of chopped onions in oil. Add fish sauce to taste and add 2 cups of water. Add the meatballs and boil for about 20 minutes or until cooked. Add rice noodles and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Add an egg and poach in mixture. When egg is formed, mix into dish.
